Wildlife Chemical Immobilization
This course will be held at Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi on October 5-7. The course is designed for state, tribal, private, and federal wildlife professionals, organizations that deal with captive wildlife, animal control officers, university students, and veterinary professionals. One of the most extensive such courses in North America, it is a practical, field-oriented course with hands-on labs every day. Few courses in the country involve live animals, but in this course, you will be able to chemically immobilize goats, which simulate deer in an excellent way. A reduced student rate is available for full-time college students. Register online.
